Loom Solar, a manufacturer of solar panels, batteries, and inverters, as well as an EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) provider, has unveiled its strategy to expand into the deployment of large-scale solar power plants, supported by battery energy storage systems (BESS) to ensure grid stability.

The company has successfully delivered projects across diverse geographies, including an 8 MW utility-scale solar power plant in Tamil Nadu, 5.3 MW in Madhya Pradesh, 1.1 MW in Uttarakhand, and 3.5 MW in Rajasthan.

“The future of India’s energy grid lies in its ability to seamlessly integrate large-scale renewable sources. India’s ambitious goals of energy independence and achieving Net Zero by 2070 are not just aspirations—they are the foundation of our economic future,” said Amod Anand, Co-founder and Director, Loom Solar.

“Our strategy is built on a simple yet powerful principle: a solar plant is only as strong as its ability to provide consistent, reliable power. By coupling our high-efficiency solar modules with advanced battery energy storage solutions, we ensure that every unit of energy generated becomes a stable and resilient asset for the national grid.”

Loom Solar’s commitment to this strategy is supported by its robust manufacturing capabilities, including a planned 1.2 GW PV module factory and a 100 MW production capacity for inverters and batteries.
