Pace Digitek wins 250MW/500MWh battery storage project from Damodar Valley Corp.
Pace Digitek has secured supply, EPC, and operation and maintenance (O&M) contracts from Damodar Valley Corp. for a 250 MW/500 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project at Maithon.
Lineage Power, the energy storage arm of Pace Digitek Ltd, manufactures grid-scale containerized BESS at its facility in the Bidadi Industrial Area, near Bengaluru.

Pace Digitek has secured multiple contracts from Damodar Valley Corp. for the development of a 250 MW/500 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project at Maithon in Jharkhand.
The scope of work includes the supply of plant and equipment along with mandatory spare parts, as well as EPC services covering design, engineering, installation, testing and commissioning of the project. The contracts also include comprehensive operation and maintenance (O&M) services for a period of 12 years.
The aggregate contract value stands at INR 7,019.54 million, including GST. This comprises a supply contract worth INR 5,737.28 million, an EPC services contract valued at INR 574.26 million, and an O&M contract worth INR 708.00 million.
Pace Digitek said the supply and EPC scope of the project is scheduled for completion within 18 months from receipt of the Letter of Award.
