The State-owned hydropower producer will sell the electricity generated from the solar project to Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) under a 25-year power purchase agreement. Tariff is fixed at INR 2.68/kWh (US$0.037/kWh).

Solar power generators have until June 15 to bid for the development of projects on a build-own-operate basis. The ceiling tariff payable for the electricity generated has been fixed at INR 3.10/kWh.

Developers now have until May 18 to bid for setting up the capacity in the Uttar Pradesh Solar Park. Technical bid shall be opened on May 19.

The state-run power producer has commissioned the remaining 15 MW capacity of the 85 MW Bilhaur solar project.

Developers now have until April 15 to bid for setting up the capacity on a ‘build-own-operate’ basis. The capacity shall come up in the Uttar Pradesh Solar Park.

The state-run power producer, which already has a 140 MW solar project operational at Bilhaur in Uttar Pradesh, has announced part commissioning of a second PV project in the town.

Bidders have until May 5 to lodge their interest for developing 100 MW of grid-connected solar capacity in the district Mirzapur.

Global bids are invited to develop an aggregate 75 MW of grid-connected solar power projects with an upper tariff ceiling fixed at INR 3.00/kWh for the entire power purchase duration of 25 years. The projects are to be installed in the Uttar Pradesh Solar Park on a ‘build-own-operate’ basis. 

Bids are invited to install and commission off-grid solar power plants in sizes varying from 500Wp to 50,000Wp.

Developers now have until March 11 to lodge their interest in building 275 MW of grid-connected solar capacity in Uttar Pradesh Solar Park. The projects are to be set up on a build-own-operate basis.
