Greenzo Energy India has unveiled its 1 MW alkaline electrolyzer developed using 100% local technology and components.

The Indian state of Uttar Pradesh has solar and other clean energy projects with a total investment outlay of INR 1 lakh crore ($12 billion) in the pipeline.

The 800 MW solar park will be developed by a joint venture of state-owned hydropower producer THDC and the Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA). 

Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) and The Nature Conservancy (TNC) India will collaborate to identify land parcels for large-scale renewable energy projects in the state. They will also collaborate on policy and research related to the low-impact siting of utility-scale solar and wind projects.

The city will meet 10% of its electricity requirements from solar power in four years.

Solar cities in Uttar Pradesh will host 1 kW solar trees with LED street lighting systems and 2.5 kW solar trees for the illumination of gardens and parks.

TUSCO Ltd is accepting bids from consultants to prepare a pre-feasibility report and detailed project report for floating solar plants on dam reservoirs in Uttar Pradesh.

Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL) has opened bids from project management consultants for 1.2 GW Jalaun Solar Park it is developing in the Jalaun district of Uttar Pradesh.

Under a new tariff-based competitive bidding system, Indian farmers can set up solar plants ranging in size from 500 kW to 2 MW on uncultivable farmland, so they can sell the electricity to state distribution companies. They can also lease their land for PV arrays. The fixed ceiling tariff is INR 3.10 ($0.04)/kWh, with bidding scheduled to close on June 15.

Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (BSUL) has invited proposals to develop grid-connected solar power projects in the Jalaun Solar Park of Uttar Pradesh. May 18 is the deadline for submission.
