NTPC launches 1.5 GW solar tender

NTPC Ltd has invited global bids to develop 1.5 GW of solar power projects in India. The projects can be located anywhere in India and must connect to the interstate transmission system (ISTS).

Bids can be submitted until January 4.

In a separate tender, NTPC has invited bids to supply 1.5 GW of renewable power from ISTS-connected wind-solar hybrid power projects anywhere in India. The projects are to be developed on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis.

Bidding closes on Jan. 3, 2024.
