Uttar Pradesh prepares to procure another 550 MW of solar

Uttar Pradesh will tender another 500 MW solar capacity by end of October

A reverse auction will now be held on October 9. The capacity is part of the previous 1 GW tendered capacity, which was oversubscribed by around 800 MW, but cancelled due to high tariffs

Uttar Pradesh tenders 1,000 MW PV projects

Uttar Pradesh’s UPNEDA has released a 1,000 MW tender for solar PV projects to be installed anywhere in the state. Bid submissions are due on February 2.

Uttar Pradesh updates solar power policy

Uttar Pradesh released a new solar policy on December 7 for the development of 10.7 GW of solar installations in India by 2022, including 4.3 GW through rooftop solar. The government has proposed several incentives and offers to promote solar growth in the state.
