UPNEDA floats solar plus battery tender

The cumulative solar project capacity to be set up at various sites in Uttar Pradesh is 6 MW, which may vary widely depending upon the demands from various sources.

The selected bidders shall also provide 5-years warranty and comprehensive maintenance at the identified sites.

Completion period is 6 months from the date of award of work.

Bidding closes on June 24. Technical bids will open on June on 25, while financial bids for technically qualified bidders will open on June 31. Bidders are required to deposit bank guarantee of Rs 72 lakh.

Financial criteria

To be eligible, the bidder must be either a manufacturing company of solar PV cells, modules, PV system electronics, inverters or batteries, or a PV system integrator with minimum installed/commissioned capacity aggregating 1500 KW.

Further, overall average annual turnover of the company in the last three financial years must be at least Rs 21.6 crore.

Technical criteria

The PV modules used for the tendered projects must have an output of at least 250 Wp with 72 cells and open circuit voltage of the PV modules under standard test conditions should be at least 42 V. The module efficiency should not be less than 15%.

The Lithium Ferro phosphate (LiFePo4) battery cell should be prismatic type having capacity not less than 60 Ah.
