NTPC switches on 100 MW at Ramagundam solar project; ACME commissions BESS capacity in Rajasthan

NTPC Ltd has declared the commercial operation of 100 MW out of the total 176 MW solar PV project at Ramagundam super thermal power station in Telangana. With the latest addition, NTPC Group’s total installed capacity has reached 89,805 MW.

In a separate development, ACME Solar Holdings Ltd, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Sun Power, has commissioned a 33.333 MW/160.480 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) project at Badi Sid village, spanning Phalodi and Jodhpur districts in Rajasthan. With this addition, ACME Sun Power’s total commissioned capacity stands at 200.003 MW/962.940 MWh.

This follows the commissioning of 35.714 MW/160.512 MWh BESS project by ACME Surya Power at Jaimalsar village in Bikaner district of Rajasthan. With this, ACME Surya Power has reached a cumulative commissioned capacity of 175.223 MW/787.387 MWh.
