Solidus Techno Power has commissioned a 40 MW AC (60 MWp) solar project in Punjab under the state’s open access policy for captive consumption by commercial and industrial (C&I) customers.
The project has been developed for Aarti International Ltd and Aarti Steel International Ltd in Fazilka, Punjab. It is expected to generate around 85 million units of electricity annually and help offset more than 80,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions per year.
This achievement takes Solidus’s total completed solar project capacity to 200 MW across North India.
