LEAPTING to deploy 2,000 G1 cleaning robots across Waaree Renewables’ 1.2 GWp solar projects

China-based LEAPTING (Huzhou LEAPTING Technology Co., Ltd.) today announced that it has secured a major contract with Waaree Renewables to deploy more than 2,000 PV module cleaning robots across three large solar plants in Rajasthan. The projects have a combined installed capacity of around 1.2 GWp and are built on 2P fixed-tilt structures.

The plants will be equipped with LEAPTING’s G1 water-free automated cleaning robots. The company said the G1 robots are designed for Indian operating conditions, offering high cleaning efficiency, low maintenance costs and reliable performance in dusty, high-temperature environments.
