Pace Digitek Ltd announced its subsidiary, Lineage Power, has secured a lithium battery supply contract worth INR 943.5 million from state-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL).

Under the contract, Lineage Power will supply and deploy 25,000 advanced lithium-ion battery modules with a capacity of 100 Ah/48V, along with 2,500 high-durability IP55-rated racks. Each rack will be designed to house eight battery modules, providing enhanced protection and reliability across diverse operating environments.

The battery systems are engineered for both indoor and outdoor applications and will be configured into high-capacity battery sets ranging from 300 Ah to 1,200 Ah. These systems are intended to deliver high-efficiency energy storage to support BSNL’s telecom network infrastructure.

The procurement includes a comprehensive five-year warranty, followed by a five-year annual maintenance contract (AMC).

In line with national security and performance requirements, Lineage Power will ensure that all supplied battery management systems (BMS) are registered on the Telecom Trusted Portal. The systems will also undergo mandatory TSEC and TAC certification processes to meet stringent quality and security standards prescribed for telecom networks.

The company said it will execute a coordinated rollout across BSNL circles nationwide within a five-month timeframe to strengthen network stability.

Bengaluru-headquartered Pace Digitek Ltd operates in telecom passive infrastructure, power electronics, renewable energy, energy storage solutions and ICT services.
