BluPine Energy has secured 150 MW capacity under SJVN Green Energy’s 1.5 GW Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE) auction. Under the tender, developers are required to set up a cumulative 1.5 GW of renewable energy projects coupled with energy storage systems for an assured peak-hour power supply of 6 GWh (1.5 GW x 4 hours) daily.

The project was awarded to Solarcraft Power India, BluPine Energy’s special purpose vehicle (SPV), at a competitive tariff of INR 6.75/kWh.

“This win marks another milestone in BluPine Energy’s journey toward building a resilient and dispatchable renewable energy portfolio,” said Neerav Nanavaty, CEO, BluPine Energy. “As India transitions toward a 24×7 clean power future, projects like these will play a pivotal role in balancing the grid and ensuring reliability without compromising sustainability. Our focus remains on deploying proven technologies, robust storage integration, and operational excellence to deliver on our commitments.”

The awarded capacity will supply firm renewable power during critical peak hours (00:00 to 08:00 and 17:00 to 24:00 daily) under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA), strengthening grid stability and enabling utilities to meet surging evening and morning demand through clean energy sources.
