Solar Energy Corp. of India Ltd (SECI) intends to issue second tender for setting up 450,000 mtpa [metric tonnes per annum] production facilities for green hydrogen and/or its derivatives in India under the Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Scheme. The tender document will be issued shortly.
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd has invited bids from parties that are interested in setting up a green hydrogen production plant on build-own-operate basis and supply 10 ktpa of green hydrogen (GH2) to its refinery on a continuous basis. It will sign a gas purchase agreement with the successful bidder for a period of 25 years.
The bidder shall design, build, finance, test, commission, own, operate and maintain the unit and supply gaseous green hydrogen as per the terms and conditions of the agreement with the refinery continuously during the on-stream days of the refinery. The green hydrogen unit turnaround shall be synchronized with refinery turnaround/shutdown.
The unit must be designed based on water electrolysis technology with purification as applicable using renewable energy on round-the-clock basis.
THDC India Ltd seeks to empanel technical consulting agencies and award work of preparing feasibility report for floating, ground mounted and rooftop solar power projects at various locations across India. The contract period is three years. Interested eligible parties can submit bid until Aug 1 for ground mounted and rooftop solar power projects, and until Aug. 5 for floating PV projects.
