H.G. Infra Engineering Ltd (HGIEL), an infrastructure EPC company, has incorporated two subsidiary companies, H.G. Mathania Solar Project and H.G. Bilara Solar Project, to carry out business in the solar power sector.

H.G. Infra had recently diversified into solar sector with the successful bidding and win of solar EPC projects totalling 543 MW DC from Jodhpur Vidhyut Vitran Nigam Ltd under PM KUSUM scheme. The project EPC value is INR 1,307 crore. The company will execute these projects in Rajasthan through its special purpose vehicles.

Looking at a larger play in the solar sector, the company is also exploring additional opportunities in solar power development, including rooftop installations, and doesn’t rule out venturing into PV module manufacturing.
