Noida-based Oriana Power announced today that three of its arms, TrueRe SPV, OPPL Guj SPV, and Solarithic Power, have secured new solar projects of 16.831 MWp capacity under the company’s RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) segment. Earlier this month, the company bagged RESCO-mode solar orders aggregating to 7.409 MWp. With these additional orders, Oriana Power’s total aggregate capacity will increase by 24.24 MWp.
The projects are scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2023–24.
Torrent Power will set up a 3.7 MW solar plant for power supply under open access to the production units of Benzo Chem. It will execute the project through a special-purpose vehicle, TU10, with a minimum of 26% equity owned by Benzo Chem.
NTPC has tendered the land and EHV transmission system package to develop up to 1 GW of interstate transmission system-connected solar PV projects in the Bhuj Region of Gujarat.
