Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (RUVNL) has concluded its latest 1 GW solar auction at a price of INR 2.61-2.62 ($0.032)/kWh.
Avaada, Mahindra Susten, and Sunfree Energy (SAEL) won 200 MW each. Other winners included Blupine Energy (Solarcraft Power India) 150 MW, Jakson 100 MW, SJVN 100 MW, and Shiva Corp. 50 MW.
The winners will deploy projects connected to the state transmission utility grid on a build-own-operate (BOO) basis.
RUVNL will enter into a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the developers.
