Mahindra Susten has announced that it has won 200 MW capacity in Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd’s latest 1 GW solar auction.
RUVNL awarded the project through competitive bidding, followed by an e-reverse auction. It will sign a 25-year power purchase agreement with Mahindra Susten.
The project completion period is 18 months.
Mahindra Susten has an operating RE portfolio of about 1.54 GWp+ across India.
Deepak Thakur, MD and CEO of Mahindra Susten, said, “This is our second bid win in FY24, following our strategic partnership with Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (Ontario Teachers’) in December 2022.
“Mahindra Susten and Ontario Teachers’ are committed to expanding our renewable portfolio 5x in the coming years as part of our long-term vision and developing projects focused on solar energy, hybrid energy, and integrated energy storage.”
