NHDC invites bids for 25 MW floating solar EPC in Madhya Pradesh

State-owned NHDC Ltd has invited domestic bids to construct a 25 MW (13MW+12MW) floating solar power project in Madhya Pradesh. The plant shall come up at Omkareshwar reservoir in Khandwa district.

The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement & construction (EPC) of the plant, and comprehensive operation and maintenance for five years.

To be eligible, the bidder should have completed EPC work for a solar power project of at least 20 MW capacity, two solar projects of at least 12.5 MW capacity each, or three solar power projects of at least 10MW capacity each during the last seven years.

Further, it should have successfully provided operation and maintenance support for a minimum 10 MW solar project for at least one year during the preceding seven years.

The bidder should have an average annual turnover of minimum Rs 237 crore in the last three financial years ending March 31, 2020, and a positive net worth not less than the paid-up equity share capital in three out of the preceding five years. The working capital shall be at least two times the monthly cash flow requirement, i.e., Rs 19.73 crore.

The completion period for EPC work, including commissioning, is 12 months.
