NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd is accepting global bids to supply around 1.5 GW of solar modules for its PV projects in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan. Bidding closes on July 6.

TP Saurya Ltd, an arm of Tata Power Renewable Energy, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Tata Power Trading Co. for a 200 MW (280 MWp) solar project in Rajasthan.

The solar project will supply power to Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd at a tariff of INR 2.62 ($0.032)/kWh.

Oriana Power has commissioned an 800 kW AC/1 MW DC floating solar power plant for JK Lakshmi Cement’s arm Udaipur Cement Works. The plant is located in Udaipur Cement Works’ Daroli Mines in Udaipur.
