Adani Green Energy Ltd (AGEL) announced today its step-down arm Adani Green Energy Twenty Five Ltd has commissioned a 250 MW solar power project in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The project is located at Badi Sid village in Jodhpur district.
With the commissioning of this plant, AGEL’s total operational renewable power generation capacity has increased to 11,434 MW.
AGEL’s previous large-scale RE projects in Rajasthan include a 2.1 GW (world’s largest single-site) RE hybrid project. It is also constructing the world’s largest renewable energy park at Khavda, where 30 GW of projects is underway. It has already operationalized more than 2 GW of solar capacity and 250 MW of wind capacity at the Khvada RE park.
