Bidders can compete for 50 MW-600 MW slices of the tendered grid-connected solar capacity. The deadline to lodge the interest is May 21.
The solar farm benefits from a power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India at an INR 2.49/kWh (US $0.034/kWh) tariff. The electricity generated will be supplied to the state Discom of Rajasthan.
Domestic bids are invited to install and commission a 1 MW captive rooftop solar plant at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur. Operation and maintenance of the plant for ten years also falls under the bidder’s scope. Bidding closes on April 26.
The developer has secured the revolving fund from 12 international banks. It would use the amount to initially finance its 1.69 GW hybrid portfolio of solar and wind projects to be set up in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
