NTPC launches 500 MW solar tender

NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd has tendered the balance-of-system package (excluding land and transmission system) of a 500 MW solar PV project at Bhadla, Rajasthan, connected to the state transmission system.

The prospective contractor’s scope includes design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the solar PV plant (excluding supply of solar PV modules). It will also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar PV plant along with electrical equipment, consumables and spare parts for a period of three years from the date of commissioning of full project capacity.

Land with boundary fencing and transmission line to the nearest STU sub-station fall under the owner’s scope.
