AMPIN Energy Transition (formerly Amp Energy India) has unveiled its 100 MW (135 MWp) solar project for Amazon Web Services (AWS). This is India’s first interstate transmission system (ISTS) connected solar PV project with a long-term commercial and industrial (C&I) purchaser.
AMPIN stated that the project was commissioned on schedule in December 2023 and is fully operational now. The project is located in Bhadla, Rajasthan, a state where AMPIN Energy is developing 1 GW of utility scale projects.
The single-axis tracker-based project is spread across 580 acres of land and will help mitigate 5,981,467 MT of CO2 by its green power generation.
