Servotech has landed the contract to supply and install 800 units of DC fast EV chargers at BPCL’s retail sites and fuel and gas stations across the country.

The annual electric vehicle (EV) charger shipments will grow to 0.9 million units by the year 2030, from around 17,000 units in 2021. The growth in sales will be driven by government policies and private investments. 

Jio-bp will set up a DC fast charging network at Mahindra & Mahindra’s  dealership network and workshops across the country as the latter plans to launch a range of electric SUVs in the next few years.  

The electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer has launched electric cargo and passenger vehicles in the L5 category, along with EV charging stations. It also plans gigawatt-scale production of EV batteries soon.

The energy major launched the first of these electric vehicle (EV) chargers for the four-wheeler and two-wheeler segments in Bengaluru today. 

The power solutions specialist offers a complete range of EV chargers for 4-wheeler and e-Bus applications in the Indian market. It plans to locally manufacture up to 80% content of its product offering in India, compared to around 50% at present.

The company has installed solar, wind, and hydro-powered electric vehicle charging stations at residential societies, malls, commercial complexes, and petrol pumps in the city.

Tata Power’s profit after tax grew by 50% year on year to INR 2,156 crore ($276 million) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022.

Gujarat-based Tirex Transmission will supply 60 kW DC fast chargers for Power Grid Corp. of India’s new EV-charging infrastructure project. The chargers feature combined charging system output connectors, so multiple vehicles can be charged simultaneously.

Energy management startup Ez4EV has introduced an electric-vehicle charging solution with integrated battery storage. The complete unit-in-a-box can be charged using electricity produced from solar, compressed biogas, and compressed natural gas.
