Juniper Green Energy Ltd today announced that its arm Juniper Green Sigma Eight (Juniper Sigma) has secured a power purchase agreement with TATA Power Co. Ltd for a 70 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) power project. The PPA duration is 25 years.
Under this PPA, Juniper Green Energy will develop a renewable energy power project combining solar, wind and battery energy storage system (BESS) components in Maharashtra. The project will have a renewable energy capacity of around 180 MWp and BESS of around 280 MWh. The power generated from this FDRE project will be supplied to TATA Power, with supply of power scheduled to commence from Sept, 2027.

Juniper Green Energy had previously signed a PPA with NHPC in June 2025 for a 250 MW FDRE project. The project will supply power to the state of Haryana.
Juniper Green Energy, a part of the Singapore-based AT Capital Group, is a private-sector renewable energy power producer in India. The company focuses on the development, construction, and operation of utility-scale solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy projects. As of June 27, 2025, it operates a total capacity of 1.45 GWp. Juniper Green Energy is launching its IPO in November 2025, aiming to raise INR 3,000 crore entirely through a fresh issue with no Offer-for-Sale (OFS) component.
