H.G. Infra Engineering secures Letter of Intent for 300 MW/600 MWh battery storage project in Gujarat

H.G. Infra Engineering Ltd announced this week that it has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) for the development of a 300 MW/600 MWh standalone battery energy storage system (BESS) in Gujarat. The project was awarded under GUVNL’s Phase VI auction for 500 MW/1,000 MWh of BESS capacity through a tariff-based competitive bidding process.
