Alpex Solar wins INR 45-crore solar pumps order from MSEDCL

Alpex Solar Ltd, a solar PV module and solar system provider, today announced that it has secured a INR 45-crore solar pump order from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd (MSEDCL). It won the order under the Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump scheme, which aims at enhancing agricultural productivity by providing farmers with access to sustainable solar-powered water pumps.

As part of this contract, Alpex Solar will supply MSEDCL with 2,000 solar water pumps.

The order will be fulfilled through Alpex Solar’s manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, which has recently expanded to 1.2 GW capacity.
