Italy’s Ecoprogetti has delivered its state-of-the-art glass-glass solar panel production line to India’s SAEL. The line has an annual production capacity of 300 MW and is equipped to produce double-sided glass-glass solar panels using TOPCon M10 cells.
The production line from Ecoprogetti enables a 600 W output per panel. It operates 24×7, assembling over 190–200 panels daily.
Ecoprogetti provides its customers turnkey PV panel production solutions of various levels of automation and capacity, tailor-made on its customers’ requirements. It offers PV equipment, installations, certified training, know-how transfer, raw material support, and certification support. In India, Ecoprogetti is led by Rajen Shah, managing director.
SAEL is a renewable energy company specializing in solar and waste-to-energy projects. Additionally, it has established module manufacturing plants with a capacity of 2.3 GW, which is being expanded to 3.4 GW in Rajasthan and Punjab.
