Rayzon Solar ramping up module manufacturing capacity to 12 GW by September next year

Gujarat-based Rayzon Solar will expand its solar module manufacturing capacity to 12 GW per year by Sept. 2025, from the current 4 GW. Out of the 8 GW new addition, the company will add 3 GW by December this year. The remaining 5 GW will be added by Sept. 2025, Vineet Tyagi, head-Sales North India at Rayzon Solar, told pv magazine at REI Expo 2024 recently.

Tyagi said Rayzon will also build a PV cell production capacity of 1.2 GW by the end of 2025 or early 2026.

At REI, the company signed an agreement with Cliantech Solutions for a 5 GW solar production line.

Rayzon also unveiled its 635 Wp 210 R TOPCon module, which, it says, is suited both for residential and commercial & industrial installations as the module helps maximize energy production even in limited spaces.

The module is built with 210 mm x 182 mm (rectangular) cells and is up to 23% efficient.  The rectangular cell design optimizes space within the module, enabling more cells to be packed, and resulting in increased power density.
