Kärcher India, the Indian arm of Germany-based cleaning technology company Kärcher, eyes a double-digit growth rate in the Indian market. To meet its objective, the company is diversifying its product lines and enhancing its comprehensive suite of cleaning solutions. It has established various branch offices, aimed at enhancing customer reach and support, and is also offering solutions on a rental basis.

Kärcher, which holds the title of the current best-selling pressure washer in the world, delivers innovative cleaning solutions that enhance efficiency across various industries, including the solar energy sector. It is eyeing the growing demand from large-scale industrial installations and also looking to tailor the solutions for residential rooftop solar installations.

Jatinder Kaul, managing director, Kärcher India, said, “Debris from dust, soot, and pollen can reduce the output of photovoltaic systems and solar thermal modules by up to 20%, and natural elements like rain and wind are often insufficient for thorough cleaning. That’s why we’ve developed the iSolar system, featuring rotating brushes on a telescopic lance, enabling efficient cleaning of up to 1,500 m² of solar modules, depending on their design.”

“As the demand for solar energy continues to rise—especially in large-scale industrial setups—we recognize the critical role our advanced cleaning technology plays in supporting sustainable growth. Also with initiatives like the PM Suryaghar scheme boosting residential solar adoption, we are committed to providing tailored solutions that maximize efficiency for residential installations,” added Kaul.

As Kärcher looks to deepen its presence in the Indian market, the company is focusing on localized strategies and partnerships.  This also includes enhancing its rental solutions for the professional segment and providing businesses with cost-effective access to its advanced cleaning equipment. To cater to the professional segment, the company recently launched KIRA B 50 autonomous scrubber-dryer and KIRA CV 50 autonomous cordless vacuum. Additionally, its BDS 43/165 single-disc machine with robust cleaning capabilities is suited for various industrial applications.
