Sunkind Energy, a solar EPC solutions provider, has secured five solar rooftop projects with a combined capacity of 10 MW in states like Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.
The company will install these solar rooftop projects for Cedaar Textiles, ABREL Solar Power, Jindal Stainless Ltd, Jindal Steel and Power Ltd, and SBF Rapid (TMT).
Established in 2019, Sunkind Energy is transitioning towards a utility-scale developer model, aiming to invest in long-term power purchase agreements (PPAs) and utility-scale projects. “This strategic shift promises improved business viability and faster return on investment compared to traditional EPC contracting,” stated the company.
The company is also setting up its own solar panel manufacturing line, which will start production in 2025. It is also working on solar park development projects in Chattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Haryana.
