Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently inaugurated the Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Airport at Gwalior, powered by a state-of-the-art 500 kW solar carport installed by Jakson Group.
The solar carport project uses Jakson’s Helia series half-cut mono PERC modules. It is estimated to produce 7,50,000 kWh of power annually and help offset 600 tons of CO2 emissions per year.
The Gwalior project follows Jakson Group’s 250 kW solar rooftop installation at the newly inaugurated International Airport in Ayodhya, in January.
Established in the year 1947, the Jakson Group has evolved from specializing in diesel generator manufacturing to becoming a multifaceted energy solutions provider with a presence across distributed energy, solar power, eco-friendly energy sources, alternative fuels, and high-tech energy storage solutions and EPC services. The company has a 1.2 GW of fully automated solar module manufacturing facility in Noida.
