Waaree Renewable Technologies Ltd has received a Letter of Award from an undisclosed domestic entity to set up a 412 MWp (335 MW AC) solar power plant on a turnkey basis. As per a stock exchange filing by Waaree Renewable Technologies, the company awarding the contract is “one of the global leading biggest utility in the world in renewable energy.”
Waaree RTL’s scope of work includes engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the solar plant, along with operations and maintenance for a period of two years.
The total order value is around INR 554.30 crore ($66.74 million), including EPC work worth INR 547.50 crore and O&M INR 6.798 crore.
The projects are scheduled for completion by Dec. 31, 2024.
With this project addition, the company’s unexecuted order book has now swelled to 1.161 GW.
