Gujarat State Electricity Corp. Ltd (GSECL) has issued a tender to select a consultant for a standalone pumped storage hydropower project at UKAI Dam Reservoir in Gujarat. The proposed Ukai pumped storage schemes are planned on the periphery of the existing Ukai reservoir which will function as the lower reservoir of the scheme.
The brief scope of work includes providing consultancy services for the preparation of feasibility report, detailed project report (DPR), approval of DPR from statutory agencies, and obtaining requisite statutory clearances for implementation of the pumped storage schemes in the proposed locations.
