Gujarat tenders 1.6 GW of PV projects at Khavda Solar Park

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) intends to procure 800 MW solar power from the projects to be located in Khavda Solar Park through competitive bidding process and additional up to 800 MW under Greenshoe Option.

The bidders selected by GUVNL will set up solar power projects in Khavda Solar Park on a build-own-operate basis.

GUVNL may decide to enter into PPA with the successful bidders for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date of the project.

Each developer can bid for minimum 100 MW capacity, rising in multiples of 100 MW only.

“Total 16 plots are earmarked for allotment under this tender.. Each of these plots is of 100 MW. Irrespective of the number of plots and the capacity quoted by bidder, the tariff to be quoted by bidders shall be single and uniform for all the plots and capacity,” reads the tender document.
