NLC India Ltd (formerly Neyveli Lignite Corp.) seeks to appoint a qualified coordinating agency for its 1.4 GW of solar and wind power plants at various places in Tamil Nadu. The prospective contractor will provide forecasting, scheduling, and deviation settlement mechanism services in accordance with the Tamil Nadu electricity regulatory commission (TNERC) Regulations 2019.
The contract period is 24 months.
The capacity under QCA’s scope of work will include 140 MW of solar power plants at Neyveli, 550 MW of solar at Tirunelveli, 51 MW of wind, and 659 MW of solar at Aruppukottai.
The QCA will maintain the transmission of plant-level data and other required data to the SLDC. It will submit a day-ahead schedule as per TNERC Regulation every day. It shall also submit intra-day and a week-ahead schedule.
