NSE-listed Servotech Power Systems has signed an agreement with the industry body National Solar Energy Federation of India (NSEFI) to implement a solar-plus-storage carport with electric vehicle (EV) charging capabilities as part of a pilot demonstration.
“The carport is proposed to be installed at the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s (MNRE) premises in Delhi, which, in effect, will help gauge to replicate the setup at other strategic locations,” stated Servotech.
Servotech’s scope of work includes the design, fabrication, and installation of solar-plus-storage carport with EV charging capabilities. This innovative structure will have a 5 kW solar system and two DC fast EV chargers of 11 kW each. The solar panels, battery storage, and EV chargers will be Servotech make.
