Gautam Solar has supplied 100 MW of solar modules to projects mandating domestic content requirements (DCR).

Projects under the DCR category must use solar cells and modules made in India. The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy has mandated the use of DCR solar modules in projects supported under its schemes such as PM KUSUM and rooftop solar to promote and encourage domestic solar manufacturers.

Gautam Solar has a 250 MWp solar module manufacturing capacity, expanding to 1 GW. “India needs solutions designed according to its government policies and geographical, economic, and social conditions,” saidGautam Solar Managing Director Gautam Mohanka.

“Currently, 335/340 Wp DCR modules are being supplied. All solar modules are EL tested and have anti-reflective (AR) coated high-transmission glass. The modules have positive power tolerance and use high-efficiency cells”.

Gautam Solar is based out of New Delhi with four factories in Haridwar.
