Coal India arm tenders EPC work for 25MW solar

Coal India arm CIL Navikarniya Urja Limited, on behalf of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), has invited bids to set up a 25 MW (AC)/32.5 MW (DC) solar power plant on an EPC basis at Bhojudih Coal Washery, BCCL, in Purulia district of West Bengal.

The successful installer’s scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction and erection, testing, commissioning, associated transmission system, and five years of comprehensive operations and maintenance of the solar plant.

The produced energy will be utilized for captive consumption of the different consumer points located in Jharkhand State. The total 25MW may be connected to DVC-owned 132/33 KV substation at Patherdih, Chasnalla, Jharkhand, which is around 15 km from the proposed project site. 

CNUL will be responsible for the award of the work to the selected EPC contractor

The total contract period is 2,190 days.
