Central Electronics Limited (CEL) has invited bids for supply of 3 MWp of multicrystalline solar photovoltaic modules to different substations in the states of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The modules with 72 cells per panel should provide peak power output of minimum 325 Wp each.
The bidder shall be responsible for design, manufacture/assembly, testing and supply of the modules. All modules are recommended to be manufactured/assembled in the same factory. In case of manufacturing/assembly taking place in more than one factory, the bidder shall provide all the required documentation as requested by CEL from all PV module manufacturing facilities.
The modules must conform to IEC 61215, IEC 61701, IEC 61853- Part 1/IS 16170 – Part 1, IEC 62716 for ammonia (NH3) corrosion testing, IEC 61730 requirements for construction and testing, IEC 62804 and IEC 60068 standards.
PV modules used in grid-connected small solar power plants by considering a linear degradation must be warranted for peak output wattage of not less than 90% at the end of 10 years and 80% at the end of 25 years from the date of commissioning of the power plant.
Supply
The vendor is required to offer the modules for inspection within 15 days from the date of receipt of manufacturing clearance from CEL in writing. Manufacturing clearance shall be provided in phased manner. Most of the modules may be required by March 15, 2020.
