Gujarat Energy Development Agency seeks to empanel EPC installers, under rate contract, for grid-connected rooftop solar systems on government buildings in the State of Gujarat. The government offices intending to set up a solar rooftop system for their own use can directly place the purchase order on any of the empaneled agencies for the respective system capacity at the rates discovered through this tender process.

The work—to be carried out on ‘turnkey basis’—includes survey, design, supply of solar systems with all accessories and equipment, metering, installation, testing, and commissioning. The selected vendor shall also provide maintenance services for 5 years, with free replacement warranty on spare parts against manufacturing defects.

The scope of work also covers regular PV module cleaning during the five years of CMC to ensure annual capacity utilization factor of 17%.

Bids are invited for 4 categories of systems: 1-6 KW, 6-10 KW, 10-25 KW, 25-50 KW and 50-100 KW and above. To be eligible, the bidder’s average annual financial turnover during the last three years should be Rs 150 lakh, Rs 200 lakh, Rs 250 lakh, Rs 300 lakh and Rs 350 lakh, respectively. Further, it should have successfully completed a cumulative grid-connected solar capacity of 300 KW, 400 KW, 500 KW, 600 KW and 700 KW, respectively, during the last three years.
