Under the partnership, Magenta Power and Mahindra Susten will provide diversified services within the renewable energy space in India. The duo aims to conceptualize solutions most suitable for the Indian market requirements.
Rakesh Singh, CEO of Solar business at Mahindra Susten revealed, “We are jointly working on multiple initiatives with focus on key states in India which are in the forefront of solar initiatives in India. We are sure this partnership is going to put in overdrive the adoption of rooftop solar not only for our respective companies but for our country as a whole.”
Working with Mahindra Susten will add tremendous value for Magenta Power’s customers, resulting in unmatched product quality at very competitive costs, according to Maxson Lewis, Managing Director of Magenta Power.
The team is jointly working on innovative solutions including some ‘firsts in India,’ trying to solve challenges unique to the solar power space in India.
Just recently, Magenta Power, under the Magenta EV business unit, had set up EV charging stations at HPCL Staff Colony (Mumbai) supporting green energy. Extending the same, it also outfitted EV Corridor between Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Mahindra Susten has more than 1.7 GW of commissioned solar projects with another 1.5 GW capacity addition already under progress.
With innovative solution like India’s first Mobile PV Testing Lab, Mahindra Susten is pushing the case for easier adoption of renewable energy. The compact mobile PV lab, developed in-house, combines all of the key tests required for PV modules. This innovative solution makes testing facilities available on location at PV plants.
