The state-owned hydropower producer has already identified the land for the solar project in village Deora of the Jaisalmer district. It shall acquire the land on a long-team lease basis to develop the project.

Bidders have until August 5 to lodge their interest in engineering, procurement, and construction of the 50 MW grid-interactive floating solar capacity in the Kollam district. The successful bidder shall also provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the plant for ten years.

State-owned hydropower producer NHPC Ltd has awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction work for a 40 MW PV project to Tata Power Solar Systems. The project—to be located in the Ganjam District of Odisha—is scheduled to be commissioned within 12 months.

Bidders have until May 5 to lodge their interest for developing 100 MW of grid-connected solar capacity in the district Mirzapur.

Bids can be submitted until February 16 to install and commission the project at the Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Park (UMREPP) in Koppal District.

Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited is looking to engage a consultant to develop the solar park in the Jalaun district. Only domestic consultancy firms registered in India can apply.

Land has already been identified for the solar park in Kaza town of Lahaul and Spiti district. State-owned Satluz Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd is developing the solar park.

The state-owned hydropower producer recently met PV developers represented by the National Solar Energy Federation of India to discuss the project’s technical feasibility on an island.

Domestic bids are invited to develop a 100 MW ground-mounted solar project on a turnkey basis anywhere in the state. Land for the project is to be identified and arranged by the bidder. Bidding closes on October 17.
