India’s Swelect has introduced mono PERC modules in power outputs from 575 Wp to 595 Wp and efficiency of up to 21.17%

Scientists in Spain tested PV modules under partial shading conditions, aiming to better understand the formation of performance-damaging hotspots. The study reveals a potential issue particularly affecting half-cell and bifacial modules, which may cause accelerated performance loss and is not covered by current testing/certification standards.

Nithin Sai has revealed plans to begin making PV panels with a new Mondragon Assembly production line. The initial manufacturing capacity is set at 500 MW for M10, half-cut cells, with plans for a second-phase expansion to reach 2 GW.

Gautam Solar has supplied 70 MW of PV panels to solar projects in the states of Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh over a period of four months.

The Gujarat-based manufacturer has introduced mono PERC modules built with 144 half-cut M10 cells and ten busbars. These are available in power outputs ranging from 520 W to 550 W.

The facility management company plans a 500 MW fully automated module line initially and expand it to 2 GW. The facility will be located in North India.   

Maharashtra-based Contendre Solar has unveiled CG X 144 series mono PERC modules in power outputs ranging from 535 W to 550 W, with power conversion efficiency between 20.7% and 21.3%.

India’s Credence Solar has unveiled Quasar-Bi line of bifacial PV modules with power outputs between 650 Wp and 670 Wp. The panels are built with 132 mono PERC half cells and 12 busbars.

Sharp’s newest PV modules feature white backsheets and are made for the needs of design-oriented customers.

The Indian solar manufacturer has released the Helia series of high-efficiency mono PERC PV panels. Ranging from 450W to 600W outputs, the multi-busbar modules are designed for use in residential, commercial and utility-scale installations.
