Avaada has signed a memorandum of understanding with REC Ltd for $1.8 billion green ammonia project financing.

REC Ltd will provide debt funding totaling INR 31,000 crore (over $3.7 billion) to support two green hydrogen projects in Odisha. This includes INR 16,000 crore to Acme Group and INR 15,000 crore to Avaada.

Avaada Group has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Ltd to establish a green hydrogen and ammonia production unit at Gopalpur Industrial Park in Odisha

Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd has invited bids for the design, supply, and assembly of the floating system (including anchoring and mooring) for a 300 MW AC floating solar power project in Odisha.

Acme Group will set up a green hydrogen and ammonia project at Tata Steel Special Economic Zone Ltd’s Gopalpur Industrial Park in the Ganjam district. The land agreement sets aside 343 acres of land for the project.

NTPC has invited an expression of interest to supply, design, install and commission a mechanical energy storage system at its Talcher Thermal Power station in Odisha. The project is intended for demonstration purposes.

Saatvik Green Energy will build the 12 MW rooftop solar project for a steel conglomerate in Orissa. It will use 545 Wp mono PERC panels for the plant spanning 25,522 sq.m.   

The state-owned hydropower producer has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Grid Corp. of Odisha (GRIDCO) to develop 2 GW of pumped storage and 1 GW of solar energy projects in Odisha.

NHPC has invited domestic bids to set up a cumulative 350 MW of floating solar power capacity, which includes 300 MW in Odisha and 50 MW in Kerala.

Jindal Stainless will install 21 MWp and 6 MWp rooftop solar plants at its stainless-steel manufacturing complexes in Odisha and Haryana, respectively.
