Maharashtra-based RecycleKaro will set up a plant to produce nickel metal from scrap lithium-ion batteries and nickel hydroxide. The plant is set for commissioning by December end and is expected to produce 1,200 tonnes of nickel metal annually.

Tata Power has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Maharashtra to develop 2.8 GW of pumped hydro storage projects in the state. The cumulative project cost is estimated at INR 13,000 crore.

The state-owned hydropower producer has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Grid Corp. of Odisha (GRIDCO) to develop 2 GW of pumped storage and 1 GW of solar energy projects in Odisha.

Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) and Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT) have signed a Memorandum of Intent (MoI) to implement 1 GW of solar projects across Maharashtra.

The state-run oil and gas company will build 240 MW of renewable power generation capacity with an investment of INR 1,600 crore this fiscal. The capacity will purportedly supply power for its refineries.
