Adani Electricity Mumbai Ltd met the electricity needs of its customers in Mumbai entirely from renewable sources, including solar and wind, for an uninterrupted four hours on Diwali.

Radiance Renewables has become the first commercial & industrial (C&I) renewable energy player in India to secure a green loan project finance facility with $90 million jointly arranged by Axis Bank and Standard Chartered Bank. It will use the funds to develop its 150 MW commercial & industrial (C&I) solar project in Maharashtra.

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) will deploy a 43.75 MW AC solar plant for consumption by Mukand Ltd, a Bajaj Group company and a manufacturer of specialty steel long products and heavy machinery in India.

Gensol Engineering Ltd will install and commission a 62 MW AC grid-interactive solar PV project along with the associated power evacuation system up to the designated substation in Maharashtra. The scope also includes five-year operation and maintenance support. The total project value is INR 302 crore (over $36 million).

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd will develop a 12.5 MW solar power project in Maharashtra for consumption by Supreme Petrochem Ltd.

The total value of the 50,000 solar pumps is around INR 1,603 crore ($192.87 million). The pumps are to be deployed over 24 months.

The project involved laying 1,750 circuit kilometers (ckm) of transmission line traversing through Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, interconnecting the western region to the southern region.

Tata Power Renewable Energy will develop a 12.5 MW (AC) solar power plant for consumption by auto-component manufacturer Endurance Technologies.

Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd. (MSPGCL) has invited bids to install and commission 600 MW of solar projects in Maharashtra.

Hygenco Green Energies will construct and operate a 100% green hydrogen production plant in Maharashtra for supply to Sterlite Technologies Ltd’s glass preform plant located in Aurangabad.
