Repos Energy, a pioneer of the Doorstep Fuel Delivery industry in India, had a very successful showing at India Energy Week 2023, as the company showcased its innovations and technological prowess at the event. Backed by industry titan Ratan Tata, Repos Energy is on a mission to help the world move toward a carbon-neutral future with the establishment of e-commerce in energy.

India Energy Week is the country’s largest and only all-encompassing international energy event hosted under the patronage of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India. Held from 6th-8th of February in Bangalore, it convened leaders from the integrated energy value chain, finance, government, think tanks and academia as they deliberated and addressed the challenges and opportunities presented by a responsible energy transition that balances security, affordability, access and sustainability. At the event, Repos Energy was showcased as an Indian company providing a tangible solution to getting clean and green fuels across the country and easing the transition to these fuels through their innovative business model.

The path to energy transition in India remains unclear, and with energy security and supply becoming a growing concern, the sector is in dire need of a transformative approach. Repos Energy is leading the way with the digitization of the entire Indian Fuel Retail Supply Chain through its innovative tools – transforming a brick-and-mortar business through a Phy-gital (physical + digital) mechanism. Their e-commerce platform makes current fuels available to the last mile with just a click, using technologies like IoT/AI/ML/Blockchain, and has thus created a distribution network for future clean fuels.

The company successfully showcased the all-new Repos Petrol Pump (LU Model), a special mobility vehicle that allows energy distribution to a customer’s doorstep with just a click on the Repos app. Additionally, Repos Energy showcased it’s signature Petrol Pump for the distribution of Ethanol and Blue, and their inventive ‘Waste to Power’ EV DATUM, an organic waste-powered patented technology invention for preventing theft of fuel during transportation and doorstep diesel delivery. DATUM (Data Automated Teller Ultimate Machine) will help end consumers make guaranteed 10% savings on their diesel consumption and support India’s national environmental goals by reducing carbon emissions with the use of technology.

With a strong presence across 280+ cities in India, 1500+ Mobile Petrol Pumps, fuel sales of 10 crore Litres (100 Million Litres) to the B2B industry (85% of the diesel market), and carbon emissions savings equivalent to planting 99 lakh trees (through dead mileage), Repos Energy has taken excellent strides towards its goal already.

“We are absolutely delighted to be at India Energy Week 2023 to showcase Repos Energy and to network with like-minded stakeholders who are intent on fuelling the growth and transformation of the energy sector. At Repos, our goal is help the world move toward a carbon-neutral future through the use of technology, and it has been an enlightening experience to deliberate on the future of energy transition in India with some of the most prominent players in the industry” said Chetan Walunj, Founder and CEO, Repos Energy.

“We are thrilled to be featured at this prestigious event and acknowledged for our inventions like DATUM and mobile petrol pumps. India Energy Week 2023 has left us more inspired than ever to  revolutionise the sector, and we look forward to another year of innovating to offer cleaner, greener fuels to a wider audience” added Aditi Bhosale Walunj, Founder and CVO, Repos Energy.
