MahaNirmiti to set up 1,071 MW solar projects to power agriculture

MahaNirmiti or MAHAGENCO (Maharashtra State Power Generation Co. Ltd) will soon commission solar power projects with a total capacity of 1,071 MW under Maharashtra government’s Solar Agriculture Feeder Scheme 2.0. The projects will benefit over three lakh farmers in the state by providing uninterrupted daytime electricity for irrigation.
