Jakson Green has secured a 40 MW solar EPC project in Ayodhya. The project was awarded by NTPC Green Energy Ltd. 

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd will develop a 12.5 MW solar power project in Maharashtra for consumption by Supreme Petrochem Ltd.

Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd will develop a 966 MW solar-wind hybrid plant for round-the-clock renewable power supply to Tata Steel’s operations in Jamshedpur, Kalinganagar, and Ludhiana.

Technaxx, a German company, has developed a 400 W solar table that combines the functionality of an outdoor table with a power generation unit, using PERC technology for its solar modules.

The total value of the 50,000 solar pumps is around INR 1,603 crore ($192.87 million). The pumps are to be deployed over 24 months.

Falling solar equipment prices, bulk module orders, and an expansion in domestic solar manufacturing capacity are driving a solar boom in India. The government can add further impetus if it tweaks domestic content rules.

The transmission line for evacuating power from a 13 GW renewable energy project in Ladakh will pass through Himachal Pradesh and Punjab up to Kaithal in Haryana, where it will be integrated with the national grid.

Reliance Industries recently showcased its swappable LFP batteries for electric two-wheelers. The batteries can be charged through grid or solar power and used to run home appliances by pairing them with an inverter. 

The project involved laying 1,750 circuit kilometers (ckm) of transmission line traversing through Maharashtra, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh, interconnecting the western region to the southern region.

The Sixth Assembly of the International Solar Alliance will focus on universalizing energy access through solar mini-grids, mobilizing finance for accelerated solar deployment, and diversifying supply chains and manufacturing for solar.
